This document is a beautiful Late 19th-century religious card, often referred to as a prayer card or holy card. It features a chromolithograph depicting the Virgin Mary with a halo, hands clasped in prayer, standing amidst a lush garden with white lilies. Her attire consists of flowing cream and light blue robes, characteristic of devotional art from the period. The card has decorative, die-cut edges with gilded accents in the upper corners, enhancing its artistic appeal.

Below the image, the French text 'Magnificat!' (Magnificat!) is prominently displayed, followed by a scripture quote. The quote reads: 'Mon âme glorifie le Seigneur et mon esprit tressaille de joie en Dieu mon Sauveur.' (My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.) It is attributed to '(St. Luc, I, 46.)' (St. Luke, 1, 46.).

The publisher, 'Bounard Fils Paris' (Bounard Sons Paris), and the series number '5414' are also visible at the bottom. This charming piece offers a glimpse into historical Catholic devotional practices.
