The first issue, N° 1722, is dated May 21, 1881, and includes a prominent engraving with the caption 'Quatre yeux sont ressemblées dans les lueurs de votre porte.' (Four eyes are similar in the gleam of your door.). It also features a novel by Jean Misère, attributed to Louis Létang. The second issue, N° 1714, from March 26, 1881, showcases a different detailed illustration with the caption 'Puis d'un étreintement muet tout bas.' (Then with a silent embrace very low.).
