These vintage French holy cards depict Our Lady of Montligeon, also known as Notre Dame de Montligeon. The front of these devotional cards showcases a beautiful chromolithograph image of the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus, flanked by two kneeling female figures. A radiant halo surrounds the Virgin's head, symbolizing her divine grace. Below the illustration, the inscription 'N.D. DE MONTLIGEON' (Our Lady of Montligeon) identifies the specific Marian apparition or devotion represented.

The reverse side of each card contains the 'STATUTS' (Statutes) of the 'ŒUVRE EXPIATOIRE POUR LA ARCHICONFRÉRIE (PRIMA-PRIMARIA) POUR LA DÉLIVRANCE DES ÂMES DÉLAISSÉES DU PURGATOIRE' (Expiatory Work for the Primary Archconfraternity for the Deliverance of the Abandoned Souls in Purgatory). These statutes detail the purpose and rules of the association, approved by Bishop Tregaro of Sées on October 16, 1884. The text further mentions that 'En 1931, l’Œuvre a fait célébrer six-cent-douze-mille messes' (In 1907, the Work had 270,000 masses celebrated) for the souls in purgatory. These cards served as a tangible link for members supporting this spiritual mission.
