Original issue of the French monthly music magazine Mon Piano, dated December 1927 (No. 12). This collectible publication, printed in Lille, France, offered subscribers a monthly selection of exclusive and unpublished piano pieces by contemporary composers.

The cover illustration, with its elegant minimalist lines and bold colors, is a striking example of French Art Deco design — showing a stylized pianist’s profile and a grand piano in black, red, and green. Signed “Ateliers Brès”, this cover captures the modernist aesthetic of the late 1920s, a period when design and music were both embracing innovation and sophistication.

This issue includes three complete piano compositions:
Jeune fille moderne (Intermezzo) by J. Nirvassed
Les Cloches du Passé (Tango) by Armand H. Vanden Berghe
Bagatelle by Raymond Robillard

Each score is fully printed across several pages, with expressive notation characteristic of salon and light classical piano music of the interwar years. The magazine also contains short musical essays, reviews, and reflections by Émile Brande, a piano professor active in the 1920s.

Printed on beige paper typical of the period, this edition is both a musical document and a graphic work of art — ideal for collectors of vintage sheet music, pianists, or Art Deco enthusiasts.

A fine piece for framing, display, or study, representing the creative energy of 1920s France, when art, music, and typography intertwined beautifully.
