This vintage prayer card from the early 20th century commemorates Frédéric Ozanam, depicting a sketch of him. The front features a portrait of Frédéric Ozanam, credited to 'L. Janmot del.' with a handwritten date 'Paris 17 mars 1852' (Paris March 17, 1852). Below the portrait, his name 'Frédéric Ozanam' and life dates '1813-1853' are printed, highlighting his historical significance as the principal founder of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.

A unique aspect of this card is the presence of a 'Morceau de linge ayant touché le corps de Frédéric Ozanam' (Piece of cloth that touched the body of Frédéric Ozanam), indicating it serves as a relic. This fragment is encased within a small square with an embroidered red cross. A red seal with 'Société de Saint-Vincent de Paul - Conseil Général' (Society of Saint Vincent de Paul - General Council) further authenticates this item.

The reverse side of the card presents a devotional prayer in French, commencing 'O Dieu, qui avez mis l'amour des pauvres au cœur de Frédéric Ozanam...' (Oh God, who placed the love of the poor in the heart of Frédéric Ozanam...). It seeks blessings for his work and glorification for his servant. The prayer card bears an 'Permis d'imprimer Paris, 4 Octobre 1912' (Permission to print Paris, October 4, 1912) and is signed by '+ Léon-Adolphe Cardinal Amette, Archevêque de Paris' (Archbishop of Paris), cementing its official ecclesiastical endorsement from the 1910s.
