A distinctive white picket fence separates the foreground from the main racing area. On the verdant grass, three figures are prominently featured. One individual is seated in a light, possibly pink, flowing dress, alongside another seated figure in dark attire. A third person, dressed in a dark jacket and light trousers, stands attentively beside them. The delicate hand-coloring enhances the nostalgic charm of this period photograph.

Deauville, a fashionable resort town, became synonymous with leisure and horse racing in the early 20th century. Its racecourse, the Hippodrome de Deauville-La Touques, attracted high society and reinforced the town's legacy as a premier destination for equestrian sports. The original printed text on the card reads: '90 Deauville. — Le Champ de Courses. — Ll.'

This antique postcard is in good condition for its age, displaying minimal wear. It is an excellent find for collectors of French ephemera, vintage postcards, or those appreciating horse racing history and Belle Époque grandeur.
