This is a beautiful French religious card, serving as a souvenir of a First Communion. Dating back to the 1900s, specifically 1906, the front features a vibrant illustration of a golden chalice adorned with green jewels, surmounted by a radiant host bearing a red cross. Golden rays emanate from the host, set against a delicate floral background with pink and red blossoms and subtle green foliage. A gilded border framexs the image, enhancing its devotional appeal.

Below the main illustration, an ornate script presents a profound message: 'Que la Sainte Eucharistie nous révèle Jésus, et en nous le faisant mieux connaître, nous le fasse plus aimer. R.P. Prévost.' This translates to, 'May the Holy Eucharist reveal Jesus to us, and by making Him better known to us, make us love Him more. R.P. Prévost.' The card's publisher, 'Bouasse Jeune,' and location, '12, Place St Sulpice, Paris,' are noted at the bottom. The reverse side confirms its purpose as a 'Souvenir de ma Première Communion' (Souvenir of my First Communion), specifying it took place 'Le 27 Mai 1906' (May 27, 1906) for 'Eugène Revert.'
